.

Mark and Ron,

Happy 4th of July!

I hope things are going well.

I had a fantastic year in 2010…using the Global 900 Break that I bought from the Right Approach.

Two 300’s, two 800’s and I put a 241 average for 72 games in the yearbook for next year…… at 51 years of age!

I am told a 241 average is a state record for a bowler over the age of 50…..it may be a national record too!

You guys did a great job with my equipment.

Thank you,
Mark E Minda

Ron, I just wanted to let you know that you and Mark have done it again...

that Morich ball you just drilled for me paid for itself Monday night. Everybody else in the building has these balls that just hook all over the place, yet cannot hit the pocket and carry consistently. The last two you have drilled have plenty of both power and control... How do you get them to do that?!?! I'm hoping to shoot a 300 with this one so I can get on the web page!”

Just got a visit from longtime customer (and good friend) Ed Henrikowski today.  Ed, how is the new ball working?

"I just love how it feels.  I just get my hand in it and take a relaxed swing and let the ball do all the work... It has got tons of power!!!"

How has the ball reaction been?

"Actually the first week with it, it was just a bit too much as the lanes were a bit drier than normal.  So I went with the older Zone that we fixed the grip on... It feels just as good, and was controlable enough for me to shoot my second 300 ever (@ tough Beech Lanes!!!-ed)!!!"

Thanks for stopping by, Ed.  Keep up the good bowling!

October 31, 2009 (busy day!)

"You got my new grip perfect!!!  It fits like a glove!!!  That LevRg solid is the best ball I've ever owned!!!"

-Jim “Vito” Devitis

Mark and Ron,

I just wanted to thank you guys last year for the help and time taken to improve the grip on my new equipment.

It took some time to get used to the new grip……but in the long run it has been great.

This Year:

I have attached proof of the 249 average. See lane 19.

I will be in touch soon.

Thanks again,

Just checking my email today...

Hey Ron!

Well, I tried out the BAM tonight.  I got there a little early and eventually decided on a line/angle to the 10 and 7 pin...

... So, I made most of my spares tonight!  I still managed to miss 2 10-pins and I think I missed an 8-pin, but I got the rest of my single and double pin spares.  I even lucked out and got a 7-6-10, although that wasn't intentional.  The stress and anxiety that I was not burdened with because I wasn't worried about spares too much, was probably the key to me having my best night in my 3rd year in this league.

I went in to tonight with a 174 average.  I managed to bowl a 214 216 and 202!  (110 over-average, ed.) Now granted at least 3 of the strikes shouldn't have been, but a lot of them seemed really good.

Many thanks to you and Mark for all of the help. I think my lessons with Mark are really starting to kick in, especially since I kept my head in the game the whole night.

til next time!

Jerrold (Hopefully next week will be at least as good!)

Good bowling Jerrold!!!  You have putting a lot of time and effort into learning this game, We have been glad to help!  Congrats on your first Trifecta 600!

March 19,  2009

Congratulations
to Mr David Szostak for his very fine  686 set last night, including his First career 300 game!  Dave was using a MoRich Ntense LevRg at the Ford LTP league @ Woodland Lanes in Livonia MI.  "Thanks for taking so much time in working on my grip, that thumb hole is perfect!"

Keep up the fine bowling Dave!

March 11, 2009

Thank you MrMark for making me drill that 16 pound Solid LevRg... you are the master.  It was good for 18 in a row right off the drill press... 300-277-232=809, my second & third USBC honor scores in '09.

-"kotm"

How is that LevRg Response working for you, Kevin Munie?  "Not too bad... So far I'm only averaging a little over 260 with it..."  This includes a very fine 835 (his first career 800 series) going 289-299-247 (with an open 10th frame!) at Wayne Bowl!  Keep up the fine bowling Kevin!

Kudos to our own Mr. Ronald Machniak who on January 21st of this year fired his 1st career 800 series!!!  The 289-246-278-813 set included 2 "10 baggers" and only one open on the tough end pair (39&40) @ Merri-bowl Lanes in Livonia.  Nice shootin' Ron!

Who is this Tony Grote guy?!?!  Once again Tony has rung up another 12 X's in a row,  300 perfecto...  this time at Oak Lanes on Saturday January 10th,  2009.  What a way to ring in the New Year Mr. Grote!  As predicted below, this time with a BOUNTY"WHO'S NEXT?!?!"

We are only waiting on our good friends @ USBC to process his paperwork so that we can get his claim in to the good folks at 900 GLOBAL!  Check out his bonus at http://900global.com/winners

Mr. Tony Grote is at it again with another 300 game on Monday 22 December 2008 in the friendly confines of Merri-Bowl Lanes.  This time, he rolled an original Break solid, completely taming the end pair (39-40).  I am sure The Bounty is next!!!    webmaster

In an email dated December 21, 2008, Kerry Kirsch Jr. wrote;

"I got another 300 today..."

This is 18 year old Kerry's 2nd 300 game this year.  Congrats, Kerry.

Dear Mark and Ron-

I have a request of the staff at The Right Approach. Would it be possible to have you drill a ball for me that makes my hand hurt and leaves blisters on my thumb? The new ball I got from you, fits too well and is significantly affecting my game, as my average is now over 200. So far this season I have my high game, a 267 and 2 weeks later my high series a 679.

Thanks for your consideration-

Brad Metz

Dear Right Approach Staff,

I just wanted to thank Mark & Ron for all their excellent service. Whenever my family and I have a  bowling problem they are always willing to help us.  Last night I attended "Learning the Curve" and after the class Mark stayed longer to help me improve my game. I have a long way to go, but the dedication and commitment he gave me was SUPERIOR!!  I clearly understand why Mark Mohacsi always receives such high recognition. No matter where I go  if I say I bowl at Merri-Bowl someone knows Mark and they always give him high praises.

Keep up the excellent work Mark & Ron and continue to offer the Learning the Curve Class.

Sincerely,

Charity Smalley

Dateline 10 May 2007, from Mrs. Michael Murphy, also known as Kelly,

Dear Right Approach,

With the bowling season winding up, I would like to thank you for the help you have given me over the years which included choosing the bowling balls that best fit my game and also the coaching tips given to me.  This season was my best to date; I had my highest games and series this season.  I first had a 275 and a 710 series, two weeks later I had a 277 game and then three weeks later, and in a different bowling alley, I shot a 287 game.  I am looking forward to next season.

Thank you for your time and patience with me.

Kelly Murphy

"Mark, you are my hero!  I think your business is truly one of the few pro shops in the WORLD run like a business.  You give your customers excellent customer service and expert advice on improving their games.  Added value is a lost and overlooked skill or factor in our industry.  People are seeking excellence!"  -

Number One
After almost throwing away my Ultimate Inferno, I decided to get some opinions as to why it just wasn't doing what I thought it should do. During one of my sales visits, I brought up the subject with Mark & Ron. After a not-so-quick spin on the Determinator, they put a well placed hole in the ball, and sent me out to the lanes to test the reaction. Wow - immediate consistency in the reaction, as opposed to either instant hook or a 2-8-10. I brought the ball back home to throw in league, and threw my first 300 in 3 years, and threw another 300 the following week in an 815 series.

If I am ever having trouble with ball reaction again, I will definitely start a conversation with Mark and Ron.

Mark & Ron,
Thanks for helping to further bowling knowledge.  We will spin the balls at Precision and again at USBC.  We will then RG them to see if there are significant differences in mass properties.  If there are significant differences, we will put them through the USBC ball motion study to see the performance differences.   We will keep you abreast of the results.
Thanx, Mo

"Spin time is a measurement of transition.  I have seen it for myself.  Lowering the spin time does not mean it hooks more, it just means that particular ball will read the mids earlier.  Ron is an expert at dealing with spin times and contours.  I find it funny how on March 19th, when Ebonite was testing their prototype balls (Vibe, Blue Ball, No Mercy, Black Ball), and when the results were not to their liking, they stopped the experiment!"

"I would not want to work for Ebonite right now.  The only place for them to go is down.  Their sales force is rude.  Also, they do not seem to be able to take time out of their day to give me the time of day!"
