Andy Anspach has gone done it again! Not to be out shot by his sister (Kelly Murphy) this summer, "A Squared" squeezed off a fine 300 in 747 with his trusty MoRich MoJave (his 3rd perfecto with this ball) on Merri-bowl's Thursday night JJ's Gang league.
Keep up the good bowling, my friend!

We here at the Right Approach would like to congratulate Mrs Kelly Murphy on a new single game personal best of 289 (in 666) fired in the JJ's Gang Mixed league at Merri-bowl Lanes. A MoRich Awesome Revs with an experimental drill was the guilty tool... I guess its safe to say that its a keeper ;).

Picture a young man, working hard on his new love... this game of ten-pins is not the easiest to master, yet after logging in many hundreds of practice games under the watchful eye of his Dad & a few gentle nudges in the correct direction by our own "Mr.Mark" he has hit another benchmark. Just last October Tony "Lil" Leo recorded his first 600 set, but this Sunday during the Sunday Youth Classic Travel League @ Thunder-bowl Lanes the 12 year old was on fire. Starting off with the front 9, Tony grabbed everyones attention early with a fine 278 game. After that carry eluded him for a bit, but he stayed clean backing it up with a 204. He then found the right move to line back up for a very impressive 257 finishing for a 739 total, more than 200 over his current mid-170's average. That MoRich Craze works well (when you clean it!!!-kotm) doesn't it, Tony?!
Keep up the good work, Mr. Leo!!! Good Luck @ states!

We welcome Mr. Shawn Pepple back to the personal best page! After looking very mortal in game one, Shawn got hot starting game two. The only thing stopping him and his trusty Storm Hy-Road was a pesky 4 pin, XXXXXXXXXXX9 = 299 (111 over average) in a nice 665 set during the Rite on Time Mens league @ Merri-bowl lanes. Keep up the good bowling my friend!

After a slow scoring holiday season, it seem that thing are starting to warm up early as Mr. Tony Echols got hot over at Woodland Lanes Monday evening. His 900 Global Creature Pearl was up to the task with a scorching set of 290-235-278=803. Great bowling Tony!

It seems that Mr. Tony Grote is not always throwing perfect games! Woodland Lanes proved a little tougher than usual during his Friday evening mens league, where he did start out with 20 strikes out of his first 22 attempts with the new MoRich Craze... coming close with strings of 9 in a row for 264 and 11 in a row for 299 in a fine 700 series.
Good bowling Tony!
November 07, 2009
Congrats to Mr. Ed Henrikowski, who fired off his second career 300 in front of friends and family at Beech Lanes in Redford, MI. Ed has recently switched to 15 pound equipment and its good to see the change paying off!

We would like to congratulate Mr. Jerrold Sunomoto for finally attaining what our old friend Jerry Bazner would call his first "Trifecta"- 3 200 or better games in succession. In what Jerrold called "my best night of league bowling in the last 3 years", he fired off games of 214, 216 & 202 for a fine 632, a good 110 over his current average. What pushed him over the top, you ask? He added a polyester ball (900 Global BAM) to his arsenal to make his spare shooting more effective.
Way to go Jerrold!
October 16, 2009
In what seems to becoming his own personal honor page, welcome once again to the spotlight one Mr. Tony Grote. Tony seems to be "in the zone" of late, this time at nearby Woodland Lanes in the tough Grandale Mens league. This time it was start slow'n steady and finish with a flurry... 223, 267, 300 for a fine 790 total. This time is was back to the 900 Global stuff: the Break solid for games one & two, then the switch to the sexxxy Break Pearls70 for the finish.
Nice bowling Tony!
October 4, 2009
John Reynolds gave us a ring the other day...
"Hey Mr. Mark and Ron... just wanted to let you know I fired a 288 today (to go with my whopping 653 series), umm, just wanted to let you know".
Don't get so excited John! ;) Nice Bowling Young Man!

Look who's back... Tony Grote has done it again! In week 3 of the Detroit Firefighters Mens League at Merri-Bowl Lanes, Mr. Grote was lighting them up 300-279-225 totaling 804 pins for the night using both his MoRich Awesome Hook & 'Ntense LevRg...
Very nice work, Tony!
August 28, 2009
What a way to start the 2009/10 bowling season... Mr. Mike Luch started the season off in typical fashion, that is until the third game! Still utilizing 900 Globals' the Break Pearl s70 he fired off 231-192-300 for a nice 723. We wonder how long 'til the the next one, Miguel?
July 16, 2009
Kudos to longtime customer and good friend Mr. Jimmy "JJ" Johnson, who fired off a fine 300 game tonight with one of his many fine "Stormy" bowling balls...
May 17, 2009
The phone machine pulled this one in...
"Hello! Thanks for being my coach, because we just finished... for my 300 game!!! So yeah, this is Tom [Reynolds]. 300 Baby!!! Yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about!"
We have watched young Mr. Reynolds bowl since drilling his first ball (at age 2), and knew this day was coming. We're excited to, Tommy. Way to go!
May 01, 2009
A tip of the cap to longtime customer and bowler extraordinaire Derek Takala, who fired off his second 300 this season (and well into double digits for his career) during his final night of competition on the Friday night Golden Eagles Mens League @ Merri-Bowl Lanes. A Roto-grip Saturn was the weapon of choice. Way to finish out the season, DT!
April 23, 2009
Congratulations are in order for Mr. Andrew Anspach, the newest member of our 300 club. Andy has worked very hard on his game over the last few seasons & it is nice to see it starting to pay off! "Asquared" snuck his first ever perfecto into his last set of this season on Wednesday nights "Rite-on-Time" Mens League @ Merri-Bowl Lanes.
Which weapon for the always dangerous end pair, 39 & 40 , Andy?
...MoRich MoJave ftw!
April 23, 2009
Hey guys, the new grips were just the trick, Thanks! - Bobby Chubb

Just wanted to let you know the ball is still working well... to date these are the scores I have shot with the Global (the Break Pearl s70, drilled just after New Years):

Good things come to those who work hard! After not quite 2 years of working hard @ this game, we would like to send kudos to Mr. Shawn Pepple, who hit personal bests of 278 in 747 in the Monday night Longnecks league @ Merri-bowl Lanes. USBC awards for this will be 140 over average for the night and 100+ over for one game. Keep up the good work Shawn!

Congratulations to Mr David Szostak for his very fine 686 set last night, including his First career 300 game! Keep up the fine bowling Dave!
March 11, 2009
Thank you MrMark for making me drill that 16 pound Solid LevRg... you are the master. It was good for 18 in a row right off the drill press (5 X's in warm-ups) ... 300-277-232=809, my second & third USBC honor scores in '09.
-"kotm"
How is that LevRg Response working for you, Kevin Munie?
"Not too bad... So far I'm only averaging a little over 260 with it..."
This includes a very fine 835 (his first career 800 series) going 289-299-247 (with an open 10th frame!) at Wayne Bowl! Keep up the fine bowling Kevin!
Kudos to our own Mr. Ronald Machniak who on January 21st of this year fired his 1st career 800 series!!! The 289-246-278-813 set included 1 shot @ 900 Globals' $25k Bounty and only one open on the tough end pair (39&40) @ Merri-bowl Lanes in Livonia. Nice shootin' Ron!
Who is this Tony Grote guy?!?! Once again Tony has rung up another 12 X's in a row, 300 perfecto... this time at Oak Lanes on Saturday January 10th, 2009. What a way to ring in the New Year Mr. Grote! As predicted below, this time with a BOUNTY! "WHO'S NEXT?!?!"
We thank Tony for the extra "beer money" in our pockets, gained from 900 Globals' "Bounty" promotion. His 300 game earned both of us a share in the $25,000 prize fund!
Mr. Tony Grote is at it again with another 300 game on Monday 22 December 2008 in the friendly confines of Merri-Bowl Lanes. This time, he rolled an original Break solid, completely taming the end pair (39-40). I am sure The Bounty is next!!! -webmaster
In an email dated December 21, 2008, Kerry Kirsch Jr. wrote;
"I got another 300 today..."
This is 18 year old Kerry's 2nd 300 game this year. Congrats, Kerry.

Nice Job Lefty Bobby Chubb. Mr. Chubb rolled his second 300 game today, November 2. Every shot was in the hole. His first 300 game was rolled four years ago with a Right Hand Drill GTB, picked up off the house rack. This ball happened to be made the same year Bobby was born!!! Go Figure?!?!?!?!

This fine honour score was rolled with a Morich Mayhem released in December of 2003. Who said bowling balls have an expiration date? Just keep them clean and fine-tuned like a race car and they will keep performing like new!!! Mr. Bishop's other equipment includes a Morich Labyrinth (circa 2000), a Morich Minotaur (circa February 2001), an original Morich Black Colossus (circa August 2001), and a Sylvester polyester bowling ball for spare conversions. Mr. Bishop continues to roll honour scores with all of his equipment. And of course make those nagging single pin spares with his Sylvester Polyester Bowling Ball!!!
Paul Robertson rolled a fine 290 game on Wednesday, April 2. Paul needs to keep honing his skills or his son, Erik, will soon eclipse Paul's scores.
Tommy Reynolds continues his string of successes. The last weekend in March, young Mr. Reynolds added three more scholarships to his bank of scholarship awards. They were another Singles Title, Team Title and High Game Award. Keep it up Tommy!!!

Kudos to Mr. Jason Proudlock, as on Wednesday, March 19th, he rolled his sixth 300 "perfecto" with a bowling ball to come off of one of our milling machines! This makes it no less than 14 award scores to be rolled by this fine man. Atta boy Jason!
Our compliments to Mr. Tony Grote. On Monday, March 10th Mr. Grote rolled his second award score 47 days after his first award score (300, of course) of 2008! His score - 299! What piece of equipment did Mr. Grote use? An N'sane LevRG that is only three weeks old!! What did he leave?
A stubborn, pesky,
solid nine pin : ( Way to go TONY!!!
Ron "Hair" Jordan had his second perfect 300 game on Friday, March 7th in the Golden Eagles Bowling League at Merri-Bowl Lanes using his Pearlized Blue Sensor II that was drilled over a decade ago.
